Massive Missile Attack

Ukraine Destroys All Russian Missiles, Confirming the Effectiveness of Western Air Defense Systems.

On the evening of July 26, the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted a massive launch of 36 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea – the strikes were carried out using cruise missiles "Kalibr" and "X-101/X-555". Later, at 7:00 p.m., 4 X-47 "Kinjal" aeroballistic missiles were detected in Ukrainian airspace, which, according to Russian propaganda, have no analogs. During the night of July 27, Russia launched 8 "Shahed-136" combat drones towards the Khmelnytsky Oblast in Ukraine. All aerial targets were destroyed by the air defense systems available in Ukraine. This demonstrates Ukraine's experience in the effective use of modern air defense means. The shortage of air defense leads to more casualties, the destruction of Ukrainian cities, and encourages Putin to continue the missile terror in Ukraine. Every major Ukrainian city must be protected by a multilayered air defense system, which currently exists only in Kyiv.

The visit of the Russian Defense Minister, S. Shoigu, to North Korea, confirms that Russia is seeking new sources of weapon supplies. If official Pyongyang begins to supply ammunition to Moscow or, in the worst case, becomes an intermediary in the transfer of a large number of Chinese projectiles and missiles, the war will escalate. In recent missile attacks, Russia has changed tactics and uses the "swarm" principle: a large number of missiles attacking a single target. This was evident during the bombardments of Ukrainian ports in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions, as well as on July 26 when the Russian Aerospace Forces launched four aeroballistic missiles "Kinjal," targeting the airfield in Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytsky Oblast. Thus, Russia seeks to destroy critically important objects of Ukraine's military and civilian infrastructure. Additionally, during attacks on the port infrastructure of the Odessa region, the Russian Aerospace Forces used "Oniks" missiles, capable of flying at very low altitudes – up to 10 meters. Therefore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces require appropriate air defense systems, including the Franco-Italian development SAMP/T, capable of intercepting targets flying at an altitude of 5 meters.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have demonstrated their ability to effectively use modern air defense assets, and the shortage of these assets will result in tragic consequences. Putin will not stop and will continue the missile terror – Russia has managed to bypass sanctions and continues to produce missiles that strike Ukrainian cities in the rear. Moreover, Russia is rapidly developing strike and tactical drones. Before the onset of colder weather, Russia will carry out even more brutal attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, compared to the scales of the previous year. This necessitates the supply of air defense and missile defense systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukraine has proven that it can be the shield of Europe and, with the help of the West, eliminate the threat of territorial expansion that Putin dreams of achieving. The West cannot dissociate itself from the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine – its independence means Europe's independence.
