Putin's Missile Terror: Additional Air Defense Systems Will Save Thousands of Peaceful Ukrainians

On August 30th, the strategic aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted another massive missile strike on Ukraine, one of the most powerful in recent months. The majority of X-101/X-555 missiles were launched towards Kiev. Strike drones Shahed-136 were shot down over the Kiev, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Odessa, and Mykolaiv regions. Fragments of the downed drone damaged the railway infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region. The shelling of Kiev resulted in the death of two civilians – they were killed due to the fall of a downed missile. Russia continues its terror against peaceful Ukrainians, underscoring the need for further supplies of air defense and missile defense systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Despite the imposed sanctions, the Kremlin continues to import the necessary components used in missile production, and the latest missile attack confirmed this. It once again led to the deaths of peaceful Ukrainians, who have become victims of Putin's genocide. Mass missile strikes on Ukraine's residential infrastructure have become a distinctive feature of this war – incapable of winning on the battlefield, the Putin regime commits multiple war crimes, with civilians being the victims. Therefore, the supply of modern air defense and missile defense systems is the only possible way to prevent further Ukrainian casualties.

Russia reaffirms its terrorist nature daily: shelling of residential infrastructure, destruction of industrial facilities and port infrastructure in Ukraine, a maritime blockade, direct calls from Russian politicians and propagandists to eliminate Ukrainians as a separate nation. The West turned a blind eye to the Russian threat for a long time, resulting in Putin initiating an expansionist war near the borders of the EU and NATO, accompanied by the destruction of populated areas, genocide, and the deportation of civilians. Ukraine must receive all the necessary support to achieve victory over Russia and liberate its internationally recognized territories. Otherwise, the Russian army may commit similar crimes on the streets of European cities in the foreseeable future.
