Russia is creating a nuclear provocation on its territory to discredit Ukraine

On July 14, a drone fell near the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant in Russia. Russian propaganda immediately started accusing Ukraine of attempting a nuclear provocation. The dynamics of publications in Russian Telegram channels and their presentation style indicated a pre-planned insinuation. Russia systematically carries out nuclear, chemical, and environmental blackmail to pressure Ukraine and the West.

Russia systematically engages in nuclear provocations to achieve its goals. For example, shelling and mining of the territory and surroundings of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant by the Russian army are used to discredit Ukraine, consistently accusing the Kremlin of such actions. In June and early July, Russian propaganda started escalating fake reports about Ukraine's intention to commit a terrorist act at the Zaporizhia NPP, reaching its peak on July 4. The propaganda focus has now shifted, with Russia aiming to create a nuclear provocation on its own territory. The Kremlin has never cared about human casualties, as mass casualties resulting from an explosion at a nuclear power plant on Russian soil do not deter Putin. Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine is accompanied by numerous acts of terrorism and provocations. As the Russian army lost its most combat-ready units and a significant amount of military equipment, the Kremlin uses acts of terrorism and sabotage as a method of warfare. The undermining of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station on June 6 is an example of such tactics. This incident is considered a crime against humanity under the provisions of the Geneva Conventions, as it caused the release of dangerous forces capable of destroying a large number of civilian population. This war will go down in history as a war against peaceful Ukrainians who suffer greatly from Russian crimes. Russia has become a global problem - in the event of a nuclear power plant catastrophe, regardless of its location, a tragedy will occur. The Kremlin does not consider casualties and is driven by the idea of war with Ukraine, Putin's key objective. Under such circumstances, countering Russia and recognizing it as a state sponsor of terrorism becomes crucial to prevent a nuclear catastrophe.
