The Ukrainian Armed Forces are confidently breaking down the Russian defense on multiple fronts

The counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is successfully continuing on three fronts: Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Donetsk. Specifically, on the night of October 18, the Ukrainian army regained control of the village of Poyma on the left bank of the Kherson region. This settlement is located 6 km away from the Antoniv Bridge and was liberated as a result of a successful operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian army is conducting an effective counteroffensive, confidently dismantling the Russian defense. In particular, the strike groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced near the settlement of Verbove on the Zaporizhia front. In this way, Ukrainian defenders are strengthening their foothold for an advance on Tokmak, which is situated to the south. This city serves as a logistical hub for the Russians, making its liberation a priority. Additionally, the Ukrainian army is gradually pushing the Russians away from the "Bakhmut-Horlivka" highway, which is strategically important for supplying Russian forces in Bakhmut. The most intense battles are taking place on the Donetsk front. Specifically, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling constant attacks near Avdiivka, with the Russians deploying their largest amount of military equipment throughout the entire war, attempting to besiege the city. These assaults have proven self-destructive for the Russians, who have suffered a record number of losses in terms of military equipment and personnel.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually liberating the entire territory of Ukraine that was occupied by the Russians. All that is needed for this is timely deliveries of necessary weaponry. The powerful strike on the military airport in Berdiansk on October 17 illustrates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are capable of achieving the most challenging military objectives, destroying the Russian military reserves. Currently, on the southern and eastern fronts, the Ukrainian army is expanding its foothold for an advance on strategic cities: Tokmak, Mariupol, and Bakhmut. The de-occupation of the left-bank part of the Kherson region is being prepared. Defenders of Ukraine are fighting in very difficult conditions against an asymmetrically larger adversary, which has a significant amount of artillery and heavily mines the area, but despite this, they are not successful and are incurring significant losses in terms of both personnel and equipment. With constant support from the West, the advantage of the Ukrainian army over the Russian one will become absolute, and Putin will suffer a devastating defeat, which will force him to cease territorial expansion.
