Ukraine continues to solidify its progress in liberating its territory from Russian occupation

Ukraine has been maintaining its defense for over 580 days. The adversary continues to disregard the laws and norms of warfare, employing Kremlin-style tactics of terror, launching missile and aerial strikes, and shelling from rocket artillery systems not only against military targets but predominantly against civilian objects within Ukrainian territory.

Unfortunately, these terrorist actions by Russian occupying forces have resulted in casualties and injuries among the civilian population, the destruction of residential homes, and damage to civil infrastructure.

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to make sustainable progress in freeing their territory from Russian occupation. They maintain their defense in the east and south of Ukraine, conduct offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, seize strategic initiatives, and carry out offensive actions along a wide front in the Bahmut direction, destroying the enemy and gradually liberating temporarily occupied territories.

The Ukrainian military's mission is not just to liberate specific towns and cities but to create conditions for further advancement and achieving a positive peace. The pace of the Ukrainian advance is increasing, and Ukrainian defense forces maintain the initiative on most sections of the front, conducting successful operations on land and at sea, destroying military facilities deep within enemy-controlled territory.

Ukraine has achieved "colossal success in the south," where it has defended gas extraction platforms in the Black Sea and effectively confined the Russian Black Sea Fleet to Crimean bays. The operation to oust the fleet from Crimea continues. The fleet will either be destroyed, or its remnants will be forced to relocate to Novorossiysk. Ukraine has effectively surrounded Crimea, as it can strike any point on the peninsula and destroy command centers and air defense systems.

The counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is in an extremely dynamic phase. Ukrainian defense forces will not ease their pressure during the autumn and winter period. Offensive actions along the entire front line will continue according to the counteroffensive plan. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are well aware of the enemy's forces and capabilities, including reserves and assets that can be deployed on the front. This winter will differ from the previous one because the Ukrainian military's movement will be more active. Heavy equipment provided by allies will be able to move freely on winter roads.

The combat strength of the Ukrainian defense forces is growing. Soon, American Abrams tanks, long-range ATACMS missiles, and F-16 fighters will contribute to the victory over the occupiers. The Netherlands plan to transfer the first batch of F-16 fighters to Ukraine in 2024.

The advancement of Ukrainian military forces shocks even their partners. They understand that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are like superhumans who, despite resource shortages, will persevere until the end. Ukrainian military personnel fight not with quantity but with quality and skill. The lives and well-being of defenders are an unconditional priority for the Ukrainian command.

The United States has led and managed to assemble a remarkable coalition not only in Europe but around the world to support Ukraine. Ukraine values the advice of foreign experts, whoever they may be, but it has its own strategy based on combat experience. The will of the Ukrainian people significantly influences political support for Ukraine and prevents skeptics from imposing unfavorable conditions for ending the war. Ukraine continues to be a shield for preserving the values of civilized society, peace, and democracy. The world must stand with Ukraine until Russia ends its inhumane and unlawful aggression.
